While I was in Hawaii for Charis & Ben’s Mt. Haleakala wedding, Becky and Scott asked me to shoot some portraits for them. For their Maui connection session, I first met them at their room at Ka’anapali Beach Hotel for some shots with the view of the beach and ocean.
We then headed down to the beach and walked a bit to find some picturesque spots. The afternoon sun was posing some problems, but by placing them between myself and the sun, I was able to pull a lot of the background in while editing.
After the beach, we walked around the property and got some fun and playful images. Since the two of them put on the Realm Makers conference, they had also asked for a couple headshots each, so we ended the day off with that.
