FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
While I appreciate the heritage of film photography, I’ve found film to be limiting in its ability to capture color. Additionally, film results in softer and seemingly out-of-focus images. Since those do not lend themselves to my aesthetic sensibilities, my photography is exclusively digital.
I do not, but my good friend Charles Davis Jr. sure does. We work together often, and if you book us both, we offer a discount off both our services.
I do not. I personally build a relationship with each couple, and what I learn about them influences how I photograph their wedding. Sending an associate would mean delivering generic photos that fail to capture the uniqueness of my couples.
Absolutely! My ideal weddings are based on aesthetics and a relational connection. Love, respect, and dignity are virtues core to my being, and that’s what I bring to every wedding I photograph.
Breathe. Planning can be stressful and things can go wrong on the wedding day. Take a deep breath and realize that what matters most is the commitment the two of you are making… find the peace and joy in that. And to that end, hire professionals who you connect best with – if your personality is at odds with, say, your photographer, it’s going to be a really long 8 hours!
The key descriptors for my style are modern, elegant, and romantic. And this is echoed by my couples as well as colleagues in the wedding industry. Read more about my style here.
Taking a bespoke approach to my craft, I aim for no more than two weddings a month. I like to give each of my couples the care and attention they deserve, so my ideal number is twenty weddings per year.
Because I limit the amount of weddings I photograph, I love partnering with trend-savvy, fashion-forward metropolitan and cosmopolitan couples who entrust me with their wedding day. I look for the potential of a long-term relationship, so that’s just as important as my aesthetic preferences.
I hand color-correct and retouch every photo I deliver. Since each wedding has its own mood, tone, and style, I make sure the edited photos accurately represent those.
For 8 hours of coverage, I edit and deliver 300-400 photos. The range depends on a few factors, including number of photographers, details, and the flow of the day.
I deliver a highlights gallery a few days after the wedding, then upload all the final edited images to the same gallery. It’s shareable after the final images are ready, so your friends and family can enjoy those readily. Check out my Clients page to check out the gallery system I use.
Once we’ve connected and you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a digital contract to read over and sign. You can also pay through that portal using your Credit Card or ACH. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to confirm your booking.
